Dominican Republic Tourist Safety is Taken Very Seriously
SANTO DOMINGO. The director of the Specialized Body of Tourist Security (CESTUR) General Juan Carlos Torres Robiou reported that in the tourist poles of the country have taken measures to prevent crime penetrate there and ensure security in them.

He said that to address any crime focus that may arise in tourist areas, the Cestur has just graduated 150 agents, whose purpose is to increase the presence in those areas,showing that Dominican Republic Tourist Safety is Taken Very Seriously, adding that in Las Terrenas were sent 30 of these agents, 20 of them they are from the Dominican Navy that dominate the English language and Creole.
