JetBlue Airways sponsors Cross Country race Dominican Republic

Athletic Club T3 El Limón is proud to announce JetBlue Airways as the “front-page” sponsor of the second edition of the Cross Country @ Playa Morón 2014, to be held on June 22nd in Playa Morón. By means of this sponsorship, JetBlue Airways adds evidence in favor of their ongoing support to the local community and the development of Samaná as the next tourism destination in the Dominican Republic.

JetBlue Airways, founded in August 1998, and recently named “Best Low Cost Airline” for innovation and providing affordable and safe travel options to millions of travelers, serves over 84 destinations in 24 U.S. states and 12 countries in the Caribbean, Central America and South America and employs over 15,000 people worldwide.

JetBlue will celebrate this summer ten years of serving the Dominican Republic. It first introduced flights to the country in June 2004. The announcement, back in July 2012, of a twice-weekly flight from John F. Kennedy to El Catey International Airport in Samaná, that became effective on November 14th, was embraced with great pleasure by the tourism industry of the region and has effectively contribute to position Samaná as one of the preferred tourism destination of the Dominican Republic.

We are thrilled for this new cooperation between Athletic Club T3 El Limón and JetBlue Airways and hope it becomes a long lasting relationship focused on the social and economic development of Samaná.
