Dear Friends both old and new

I have many requests about what life is like in Las Terrenas and the Dominican Republic?

Well this is very easy for me to answer based on my own experiences, likes and dislikes
"I love life here" but of course not everyone is the same!

I have put in this newsletter links to various pages on our web site that will give those thinking about buying property or just visiting a good insight.

Las Terrenas is booming and the buyers are coming from all corners of the World with the major countries being France, USA and Canada.
The town is unique on the Island and in fact in the whole of the Caribbean as it is truly multi-national with a Dominican twist.
The locals mix seamlessly with all nations in total harmony with many having French, German, English and Italian as a second language.
We have a wealth of shops selling both local produce and crafts and shops selling international designer brands.

This is a real town that we residents are very proud of and fiercely protective of and each other we act as one voice, there is no division between true Dominicans and foreigners we live in harmony and welcome all to our town to enjoy as a tourist or a resident full or part time.

If you are looking for a lifestyle change to get away from the Rat race and live in a laid back friendly village atmosphere enjoying a way of life that does not involve keeping up with the Jones's then you should seriously think about Las Terrenas!

We try to put as much information on our web pages and Blog.
We want to put on what you our special Friends require, so let us know what is missing and what you want to hear about!

Please contact Doug or Helen for anything you want or ideas for articles!
