This hotel is pure luxury, world-class service and unparalleled elegance that has risen to a new level in the Dominican Republic with this exceptional hotel de charm, The Peninsula House, which opened its doors in late February 2008.
The Peninsula house is a beautifully stunning French style colonial house filled with fine furniture and antiques collected by the owners from the four corners of the globe.
At least one of the family will be there to meet and look after guests along with their staff, the family have extensive knowledge of the area and local amenities. Thomas who is the son and a friend of mine is a mine of information.
The Las Terrenas Hotel Recommendations Peninsula House is located on a hillside overlooking Coson bay set in lush tropical lawned gardens with beautiful terraces and a swimming pool, and less than a ten minute drive to Las Terrenas.
The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble relax and enjoy the house as your own home.
Continental breakfast is included in the room price with dinners being served nightly for guests with our chef creating menus daily around your personal tastes these are paid locally.
Lunches are served down at our Beach Club & Restaurant which is a few minutes drive down the hill to the stunning beach at Coson. Although there are no private beaches in the DR you will have this pretty much to yourselves apart from other guests and public dining at the restaurant.
The food served both at the hotel and Beach restaurant is of a very high standard with prices that pleasantly please!
The Las Terrenas Hotel Recommendations Peninsula House suites all have ocean or mountain views the best suites are the front corners numbers 5 & 6 Suites are for two adults only and children under 18 are not allowed.
The rooms are all individually decorated and furnished with en-suite bathrooms
This is a hotel from the top drawer its won so many awards over the years and has many famous “A” list clients
This place is not cheap but if you want the best in Boutique hotels this is the place to stay.
